Flynn Daly has had many jobs. Now that she is turning thirty, her father and sister have decided that an intervention is needed to bring her into the family real estate business. They send her off to Aunt Esther's inn to keep it running smoothly until a sale goes through. But problems arise when the hot bartender gets under her skin, and there are even more issues when Great Aunt Esther starts playing the haunted matchmaker with her.

Ex-cop Jake Tucker is the inn's bartender. He is convinced that Aunt Esther was murdered by Gordon Chase - who wanted to buy the inn - but has to prove it. Now Flynn is here to get his beloved inn ready for a sale. Jake tries to show Flynn that the inn can bring in a profit and is worth keeping. Flynn decides that she really does like this job, but is sad to know that it will come to an end when her father sells the inn. When someone shoots at Jake and Flynn, they realize that they have to find out what happened to Esther soon, because it seems Flynn is the new target.

Lani Diane Rich created a story filled with humor, romance and adventure. I giggled when Great Aunt Esther appeared and sighed when Jake and Flynn fell in love. The secondary characters - a couple of women obsessed with a man who doesn't know they are alive, and Jake's sister who is the inn's cook - also keep you reading like crazy. Crazy in Love, a masterfully worded tale, will keep you turning pages long into the night.
