Devi Taylor and Blake Atwood had a great relationship going until Blake let loose a flip comment about marriage on Dave Letterman's show. They broke up but find themselves starring in a movie, The Givenchy Code - about the online game Play.Survive.Win - that is sure to be a blockbuster hit. But the online game becomes reality, and its players have to find clues from riddles before a toxin that they have been given takes effect and kills them.

Devi had let Blake into her life very cautiously, considering that a crazed fan once held her at knifepoint and her life almost fell apart. She had a hard time letting anyone in. Now, he is back in her life against her wishes. Devi still loves Blake but doesn't want to be hurt again. When she receives a letter summoning her to play the game, she initially retreats into herself, but is pulled out when she realizes that she won't become a victim again.

Blake knows he has to tread carefully around Devi, but he misses her and wants her back in his life. When he visits her unexpectedly one night, and she gets the summoning note from the game identifying her as the Target, he realizes as he watches her emotional state just how much he loves her. He also knows that her assigned Protector, Andy Garrison, has some feelings for her and he doesn't trust the guy.

The Prada Paradox is another dazzling romantic suspense from Julie Kenner. The chase to find the clues and get the antidote is riddled with twists and turns - who can they trust and are they headed in the right direction in the time allotted? Blake and Devi fall in love all over again, but is it too late? This is a wonderful conclusion to the game played in The Givenchy Code and The Manolo Matrix.
