Fix-It and Enjoy-It! presents 675 passed along recipes – all favorites, tried-and-true. Phyllis Pellman Good never liked to cook, but marriage pressed her into service. She has since progressed to become a knowledgeable hand in the kitchen and has chosen the recipes in her new book from over 3,000 submitted. They have to be good or they would not have made the cut.

Each recipe gives prep time, cooking time, a list of ingredients, and amount culled from the recipe as well as attribution to the contributor. Surely, there are just the right foods for you, your family, and your guests here. The sections of this great book are divided into the usual headings – Appetizers and Snacks right through Candies and Beverages. However, the recipes are far from the usual. Texas Caviar uses black-eyed peas and hominy. Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball? Don't knock it until you've tried it.

How about Scrumptious White Chili? With a prep time of 20-25 minutes and 25 minutes cooking time! Sounds like a winner to me. With the tip to put a handful of dry quick oats into your barbecue, chili or spaghetti sauce to thicken it, you can't go wrong. The Honey Chicken caught my eye. Southwestern Pesto Pasta – quickly made and cooked - sounds wonderful. Never would have thought of Broccoli Stuffing – but it sounds delicious. So does the Sweet Potato Salad. A great tip inspires me to make Marinated Carrot Sticks by placing the carrots in dill pickle juice!

Okay, you get the idea. New and exciting recipes are at your fingertips with the Fix-It and Enjoy-It! Cookbook, giving you great food and more time to spend on yourself and/or your family.
