, the second in the series, Reggie finds her upstairs tenant murdered and nailed to the floor. After the murder, the killer left a calling card for Reggie in the form of Chinese calligraphy written in blood on her door. It must be a warning, but Reggie is unable to find someone to translate the message and she doesn't believe the police translator's interpretation. What do the police know that they aren't telling her?

eggie also has trouble deciphering her own physic messages. Since the police are making no headway with the murder and Reggie is sure she's in danger, she sets out to learn as much as possible about her dead tenant and the financial deal he mentioned he was working on with her aunt.
