, a real treat to read. Henrie O's friend's nephew is in deep trouble. His wife has been shot to death and all the signs seem to point to his guilt. Somehow, Henrie O feels he is telling the truth when he claims innocence. So she puts her investigative skills to work.

ike a bulldog in her tenacity, Henrie O allows nothing to stop her from proving the young man innocent. The plot is complicated but flows with intensity to a very satisfying and surprising ending. Hart's insight into human thought and behavior is right on the button, and she shares her intelligence with her readers. Her plotting skills are incredible. These qualities help to make her books engrossing and popular.
