First off, about The Party Planner - author David Tutera is hereby invited to my next party. Anyone with a smile that broad (his picture is on the cover) is sure to ensure a great time for the other guests.

Tutera, host of The Party Planner TV show, believes in engaging all the senses in the parties he plans. Foremost, he suggests, start with a theme and follow it through with appropriate decorations, good and flavorful foods, plenty of fragrant flowers to give a treat not only to the nose but also the eyes, the right music to carry out that theme and, of course, drinks and wines to complement the menu.

How could you go wrong? You can't. Not with this wonderful book clutched in your hot little hands, guiding you all the way. Tutera has economically planned a series of parties for you to copy. Or – better yet – elaborate on his tips to create your own extravaganza. His imagination seems to know no bounds, working on overdrive. Suggestions for party themes include those for two cocktail parties, two dinner parties, holiday entertaining, special occasions and milestone celebrations. The wedding proposal dinner makes me wish I were young again. Superb.

The Party Planner contains too many great tips and easy and economical suggestions to pick out just a few. Use them and you could become the ultimate party giver, and have your friends and even casual acquaintances fighting for an invitation to your next party. Some might even try to emulate your success. What better compliment!
