Travel Journal    designed by Becky Clarke Order:  USA  Can Frances Lincoln, 2005 (2005)     Reviewed by Hilary Williamson This Travel Journal is designed to help organize travel arrangements, along with recommendations 'gathered from friends or guidebooks', and also to jot down (or sketch) people and places encountered. Exotic color photos throughout (some full page but most decorating the bottom or side of journal pages) will inspire you to use the book for planning, or to document a trip. There are sections for Personal Information, Travel Details, Planning and Packing, Itineraries, Places to Visit, Places to Stay, Places to Eat, Budgets, and Useful Addresses. International Information at the back includes country dialling codes, time differences, and conversion tables. Most of the book consists of Journal pages, to be filled in with travel memories. This is a lovely book to take along to document a trip, though a spiral-bound version would have been easier to handle. If you know someone about to travel, Travel Journal would make a great parting gift - or maybe you should plan a trip and take it along yourself.
