T
he Year Ahead 2004
is a comprehensive astrology guide written by Susan Miller, an internationally known astrologer and author of
Planets and Possibilities
and
The Year Ahead 2003
. Miller is also a columnist, with twenty-five years of experience, and has her own Astrology Zone website (www.astrologyzone.com).
M
iller continues the tradition of
The Year Ahead 2003
with her current release, that advises us about what to expect in 2004. The introduction explains the nature of astrology and how to use the book. There is a panoramic view of 2004. Then, planetary cycles are described for each astrological sign, along with an in-depth explanation of what to expect in the areas of career, money, love, relationships, health, family and possibilities. Depending on the astrological sign, Miller pinpoints certain dates that are '
good dates
' to make requests or to take on new challenges, such as requesting a raise at work, or interviewing for a new job. There are also tips on how to handle eclipses and Mercury retrograde, and what to expect during that time.
T
he book is well written and easy to read. Miller does an impressive job of explaining the planetary cycles for the astrological signs and she clearly has a powerful understanding of her subject. I recommend
The Year Ahead 2004
to anyone interested in astrology, who wants to look into what exciting, and perhaps surprising, changes they may encounter this year.
