The Lost House
centers on a very cold case - in Iceland. As the story opens, Agnes Glin (still recovering from the surfing accident that shattered her kneecap and ankle) has flown in from California where she's lived all her life, to meet true crime expert Nora Carver. Nora wants to interview Agnes for her podcast.
W

one of Iceland's most notorious unsolved crimes

Nora tells her that university student Asa recently went missing, after attending an anniversary party at the Murder House. Nora believes there's a connection to the cold case as the student resembled Marie.
A
s Agnes blunders from one encounter to another, Larsen takes readers back in time to meet Marie. Secrets are steadily revealed, as Agnes learns what happened to Asa, and barely survives to tell the tale.
