Mark Rubinstein's A Lethal Question is a psychological thriller starring Manhattan psychiatrist Bill Madrian, for whom confidentiality becomes a very serious problem after an Albanian patient, Alex Bronzi, asks him 'ya wanna know who clipped Boris Levenko?', a Russian mafia crime tsar recently murdered.

Turns out that Alex is himself connected - does his mobster dad know he's seeing a psychiatrist? Bill is terrified for himself and his family. He consults his mentor, who advises him to terminate the treatment. Unfortunately, Alex reveals what he's said to his father, who sets things in motion to eliminate Bill.

Meanwhile, Bill consults his brother-in-law Roger, a lawyer who hooks him up with Rami, a fixer friend who owes Roger a favor and has useful intelligence connections. Rani also helps people disappear and tells Bill how to do that for at least a few weeks. His life becomes surreal and he questions who he can trust.

In hiding, Bill meets Elena and soon they're both on the run from mob assassins. The action intensifies. Readers wonder whether Rami is really on their side and can he fix their problem in time to save them. Read A Lethal Question to find out.
