The Exchange
.
F
ast forward fifteen years. Mitch is in New York, a partner in a renowned international law firm. He and Abby have twin sons and Abby is a senior editor at a press specializing in cookbooks. As the story opens, a pro bono death row case takes Mitch briefly back to Tennessee, where he had not planned to return. Then, he is sent to Italy.
I
n Rome, senior partner Luca asks Mitch to take over a case for a valuable client, a Turkish construction company, and to head to Libya along with his daughter Giovanna (also a lawyer with the firm). In Tripoli, Mitch is incapacitated with severe food poisoning. Giovanna goes on alone and is soon in serious trouble.
M
atters escalate and the McDeeres are endangered, but Mitch and Abby are both bravely determined to do whatever it takes to bring Giovanna home. Along the way, Mitch parts company with another big law firm.

is not to be missed by Grisham fans.
