Sara now works in the ER of Atlanta's Grady Hospital.

opens, a young woman is brought into the ER. Dani Cooper has been brutally attacked and raped, in a manner similar to the vicious assault on Sara many years before. Unable to save Dani, Sara promises to find the man who attacked her. The story then fast forwards three years to the trial of a civil case against Tommy McAllister, arrogant scion of a wealthy and powerful family.

ara knows Tommy's mother Britt who tells her that her son did it, but will stop now; that her husband Mac and others are involved; and that it's all connected to the assault on Sara. Britt then denies saying it. A suicide raises more questions - and eventually answers. More victims of a Rape Club are revealed. Faith and Will help Sara investigate, under the radar.

n undercover sting finally does the trick, though with a surprising twist of plot to end it all. Karin Slaughter is always worth reading - don't miss this one!
