Taken as a child for a U.S. black assassin training program, Evan eventually deserted and reinvented himself as the legendary Nowhere Man. Since then, he has helped people in desperate need. The episode opens on a young man in desperate need, but with no help at hand. Evan is on a break between missions. Joey is exploring her independence. Mia is in a coma after surgery and her son Peter with Mia's brother. Mia's awakening from the coma gives Evan's foes their chance, and the President's team (led by Special Agent in Charge Naomi Templeton) takes him in. The President wants his help, to kill a very powerful man with unimaginable influence, Luke Devine - but does he deserve killing? Evan calls on ex-Orphan V Candy and another old friend for help, and is soon back in action once more. Joey applies her hacking skills to Devine. He has decadent parties and a private army, but is he a murderer? As Evan starts digging, said army goes after him. What follows is the Nowhere Man's usual explosive action and skilled use of all resources available to protect the innocent, find the truth, and take down the guilty. The episode ends on a personal cliffhanger for Evan - I can't wait for the next one!
