is a tale of two sisters (Julie Welch and Fay Lariviere), one of whom goes missing on a vacation in Morocco. Having travelled there twice, I enjoyed the setting even more than the rather over the top mystery.

ay disappears, leaving a note that she's taking care of an urgent errand for her husband and will return in two days. She doesn't. Julie has a stalker and a woman is killed, possibly mistaken for her. Following leads, she heads to a remote village in the Sahara. A guide, who offers to take her to Fay, abandons her in the desert, but soldiers find her - and imprison her with her sister and others.

', Julie finally learns what Fay was trying to do. They work together to save themselves and
disappeared
innocents in a thrill ride of escalating violence and action, where the authorities are against them, but many locals have their backs.
