Mozart in the 1780's was one of the youngest musicians ever to achieve greatness at a young age. He's had lots of company. Ulysses S. Grant was a warrior and better at waging war than anything else so that's what he did. He was also a good writer, evidenced by the fact that he has a book still in print. Einstein was also a young achiever but drank too much per this author.

From 1887 – 1945, black persons were excluded from baseball. Jackie Robinson changed all that at a relatively young age. Coco Chanel grew up in terrible poverty and achieved young to survive. She changed the way women dressed forever in the process.

I M Pei lived to 102 after success at a young age. He designed the JFK library in Boston. Akio Morita was a child of WW II in Japan who ultimately founded the Sony Corporation, the first Japanese company ever in the United States.

Maria Tallchief was a professional dancer as well as a Native American. Another dancer, Rudolf Nureyev, defected to the West in 1961 from Russia. He lived for and spoke of freedom in everything. He changed ballet forever as well.

Steve Jobs became a millionaire at twenty-five. He had loads of self-confidence and a passion for work, characteristics that all early achievers have in common. Maria Angelou said it well. 'Success is loving life and daring to live it.' These are indeed awesome twentysomethings.
