They are faced with two very different cases, which turn out to be related. Robo and other dogs materially help with the investigation, and as the story unfolds it becomes more and more twisted. On top of everything else, the search for all the missing pieces is hindered by a terrible snowstorm. We get a very good look at how difficult the work is under such conditions, how exacting the detectives have to be with evidence and following leads. Sleep becomes more and more distant the closer they get to finding the culprit. Mattie is fortunate that she is part of a very good team. It is great to see how everyone backs each other up. Striking Range is the seventh in the Timber Creek K-9 mystery series. Canine lovers will find happy reading there, and after reading this selection, will be able to deepen their acquaintance with characters they have already met.
