As always, it features amateur sleuth Lana Lee. If you enjoy cozies and these Noodle Shop mysteries are not yet on your to-read list - for heaven's sake, get on board and enjoy meeting Lana Lee and her cohorts. Donna Feng decides to give a posh pool-side party and invites all the celebrities of the Asia Village and beyond. She has hired Lana to cater a highbrow luncheon; expense is no object. Unfortunately, an employee of Donna's is found floating in the lavish pool and Donna wants Lana to root out the killer. Egg Drop Dead is a good read and the perfect distraction for these troubling times.
