West brings back former opera singer Emma Streat to thrill her fans with more exciting exploits in a fast-paced story of blackmail, cyber-crime, passion and deception. Emma's adored and wealthy socialite godmother is being blackmailed. Although her godmother is a crusty old lady who has fought her own battles over her long years, she can no longer handle adversity herself. She tells Emma, 'Whatever you do, find that horrible man. How dare he think I will hand him one million dollars. Don't come back until you find him.' She pleads with Emma to find the blackmailer and Emma takes off to search Europe for the man who would dare to threaten her godmother. Get set for an exciting trip with Emma while she finds herself involved in a passion not on her godmother's list of important tasks to accomplish. It's a really good book that is hard to put down.
