Copper and Goldie: 13 Tails of Mystery and Suspense in Hawai'i    by Rosemary Mild & Larry Mild Order:  USA  Can Magic Island Literary Works, 2019 (2019) e-Book     Reviewed by Mary Ann Smyth Copper and Goldie is something different from authors Rosemary & Larry Mild. They have written 13 short stories featuring a disabled ex-cop and a yellow Labrador. The two characters manage to quickly solve 13 crimes, using the agility of Goldie and the brains of Copper. The short stories include A Dead Man's Fare, The Getaway Cab, The Kidnapped Youngster, and The Snake Lady, to name just a few. All are well written with life-like characters. I would suggest reading these intriguing mysteries, just a few at a time. While they offer good reading, the stories are all rather similar and I found myself knowing what was going to happen next.
