Off the Grid
. This captivating mystery, set in Hawai'i, will keep you absorbed from first page until the last.
H
ilo Police Chief Detective Koa Kane has discovered the remains of a tortured soul, left to die in the path of an advancing lava flow. It makes his day even worse when he discovers that the first homicide of the day is linked to the second!
T
hen the plot gets complicated. Politics are involved, deeply involved, as are politicians. Many characters enter the picture, sharing it with the flora and fauna of this beautiful state. We get titillating glimpses of Koa and his live-in girlfriend's romance.
K
oa and his squad investigate and discover secrets that were thought to be well-hidden. Koa takes on the politicians who have no right to the public offices they hold. A touch of history is woven into the plot.
Off the Grid
is well worth the read.
