introduces Sarah Blair whose life has gone through many changes. She is recently divorced, culinary challenged, and lives in a studio apartment with a Siamese cat named RahRah. She has a new job as a law firm receptionist.

arah is barely used to being single when her world is turned upside down once again. Her ex-husband is murdered, and her twin sister Emily is the prime suspect. Emily is a trained chef and the police believe that the murdered man had eaten one of her signature dishes, containing an ingredient to which he was highly allergic.
T
o make matters worse, Sarah is suspected as well, and she might lose RahRah to someone she can't abide. She fights tooth and nail to retain custody of RahRah. I liked Sarah. She has gumption and is not going to let life get her down. The plot works. And I appreciated the insertion of RahRah the cat. The author has a nice sense of humor.

ne Taste Too Many
is the first in this new series from Debra Goldstein. It's a delightful cozy, with some interesting recipes on the back pages.
