A
Dark So Deadly
by Stuart MacBride is probably the very book you all have been waiting for without realizing you were waiting for it. Its 596 pages of suspense will keep you up late at nights.
T
he plot is unique, a stroke of genius. At least, I have not read a similar one and don't think it exists. The characters have many attributes but also many flaws that help to make them human. Their personalities conflict but they manage to get the job done regardless of rancor or animosity among those wearing a police uniform.
D
C Callum MacGregor worked hard at his chosen career but a misstep sends him to the
Misfits Mob
, those police who made mistakes. Now he must almost start his career all over again.
I
t is beginning to look like a serial killer is walking the streets of Oldcastle, Scotland - of whom the police there would never have dreamed, even in their worst nightmares. The whole force is facing the hardest case they have ever encountered. There is no room for personal feelings. But how does one divorce their private life from the pursuit of the worst criminal mind ever encountered in their careers?
I
n good conscience, I simply can't give the reader even the slightest of clues. Read
A Dark So Deadly
. You must find out what develops for yourself and will enjoy doing it.
