ow Officer Katherine Ward is almost certain that the man who kidnapped her and held her for nine months is back in her life. Known as the Beekeeper, he is a psychopath who delights in controlling others – namely young girls. Two are now missing. Katherine starts to relive what she endured years ago and determines she will track down this man and free the girls. Even though she is told she is off the case, she continues to work on finding the monster.

atherine is devastated when she learns that the Beekeeper has captured her grandfather. What happens next is for readers to learn on their own. I can't spoil the finish for anyone. I read it with my heart in my mouth, hoping for the best and holding my breath. All I can tell you is that I survived!
