A Fatal Twist
, author Tracy Weber introduces us once again to yoga instructor Kate Davidson in the fourth mystery in this fun series. No reason you can’t have fun while solving a crime.
K
ate agrees to be a
doula
(birth companion) for her best friend who is expecting twins. This will keep readers entertained for a number of pages. Kate also becomes a foster mom to two puppies! Her husband wants to keep the puppies although they already have a large, aggressive, one hundred pound canine that lives with them. Maybe I should say that the dog allows them to live with him. Enough is enough.
K
ate happens on the body of a fertility doctor who can't keep his hands away from where they don't belong. Her testimony about the death of this man, whom no one will miss, could put someone in jail for life. She determines that to keep that from happening to the wrong person, she must find the real killer.
T
he fun in this murder mystery comes from the author's marvelous sense of humor. It pops up on almost every page to the point that you are almost glad that the doctor has been killed so that Kate can do her thing.
I
truly enjoy this series. You will also. I must mention something, though. The cover, while very clever, does not make me want to pick up this book. It looks like the cover for a child's story. Don't let this put you off. Believe me.
A Fatal Twist
will chase away any rainy day blues. Works in the sun also.
