Kidnapping, diamond heists in both Antwerp and Paris, and a plot to unleash a devastating biological weapon on a major American city keep the team of Special FBI Agent Kate O'Hare and international con man Nicholas Fox hopping in this latest action packed adventure.

As Kate and Nick match wits with Dragon Kovic, the ruthless leader of a ring of international thieves who specialize in daring raids on diamond stores and vaults, they realize the ex-Serbian military officer has set his sights on a prize that will net him millions of dollars and allow him to retire. The cost, though, is so staggering that it defies the imagination.

To stop the audacious plot Kate and Nick will have to infiltrate the Road Runners, Dragon's gang, and derail the insidious plan he has concocted to figuratively and literally make a killing on the stock market.

From the catacombs and sewers of Paris to the Amalfi coast, the determined effort Kate and Nick devise will need to rely on a team of crack specialists, including Kate's father, to successfully pull off one of the most complicated and dangerous scams the pair has ever launched.

With a storyline that offers strategically placed humorous one liners to lighten the mood and incredible action that forces you to read just one more chapter, The Pursuit is a very entertaining novel.

For those seeking a quick read to enjoy on a late summer vacation or to kill some time while traveling, this book fits the bill perfectly. Granted it isn't high brow fiction but The Pursuit is lots of fun and much better than anything you'll find on television!
