his prequel takes the reader back to the beginning of the crime series featuring Nashville Metro Police Lieutenant Taylor Jackson, medical examiner Samantha Owens, and FBI profiler John Baldwin.
A
young woman's naked body has been discovered outside Nashville's famous landmark, the Parthenon. A student at Vanderbilt University, the coed's corpse has been covered with herbs and posed in what looks like some type of ritualistic tableau.

oon after this grisly discovery, another girl is found washed up on the banks of a local river and it is all too apparent the police are dealing with a serial killer.
W
ith a few personal issues to work through as well as this investigation, the characters in this thriller will have plenty to keep them busy as they try to find the person responsible for these crimes before he or she strikes again.
