reating or finding meaning to what we do, fostering positive interactions with others, and maximizing energy through the choices we make that will improve our mental and physical health - these three things are at the core of the advice presented in this concise little volume.

ather than writing about chasing happiness in some nebulous manner, the author advises the reader to create meaning in his or her life. Rath wants those who read his book to rethink what's most important both at work and at home. Rethink how you interact with others, especially those who are closest to you and mean the most, and also discover how to put your own health first so you can be at your best every day.

ot everyone gravitates towards this type of reading but after skimming the book's contents and reading a few pages at random, you might find this a volume you want to sample in greater detail. It won't take long to absorb what Tom Rath has to say and his suggestions could actually make a big difference in your life.
