ris Boelens is a single mother and a lawyer. She has a full caseload as well as a son with behavioral issues. Belatedly, she discovers she has a brother! Why on earth would her mother hide that fact from her? After much searching, she finds that brother confined in an institution. He is autistic and found guilty of murdering his neighbor and her child.
R
ay, the brother, is prone to moments of rage. Could he have committed double murder while succumbing to one of those rages? Iris does not think so. She discovers that he loves tropical fish and is a master baker. Her mother is taciturn and refuses to answer Iris's questions about Ray.
