This book is kid-friendly but will also appeal to any adult who loves books. The central character here, Book, shares its long and illustrious life in a witty, idiosyncratic voice that not only is humorous but also suggests that Book realizes how important his place is in the development of mankind.

You'll get the inside scoop from the time when clay tablets and then papyrus scrolls were the way Book appeared on the scene to the development of paper, movable type, and e-Books which resulted in a wider and wider audience for books.

As Book tells his story he includes numerous tidbits about himself and how the printing techniques developed. Also included in the narrative are a number of famous quotes about books and their role in our lives.

Anyone who loves books will be delighted to receive a copy of this unusual autobiography. I suggest purchasing four or five copies to use as holiday stocking stuffers or just as a special surprise for someone who loves reading and collecting books.
