here are bigger tips at Alba than at the less classy restaurant from which he was promoted. However, finding dead bodies was not in his job description. Nor was dodging bullets, which happens when tech millionaire Scott Duckworth is targeted by a gunman. Crime wave?

ven Tyler's bumbling father seems to be involved in some way. Dad always had a scheme going and wasn't particular where he found his start-up money. If, indeed, he found any.

olice seem to be determined to prove that Tyler is behind all the criminal activity. So Tyler feels he must become a superhero and find the thugs responsible. But he must be careful not to fall into Russian Mafioso hands!

by K. K. Beck is another of her delightful and humorous mysteries, with unusual but believable characters. Tyler's father appears at a business meeting (where he plans to ask for financial support) in fuzzy bedrooms slippers!
