Bill Scollon explains not only what the Hidden Mickeys are but also where you can find some of them when you visit a Disney park or resort. First of all, a Hidden Mickey is simply an artistic representation of Mickey Mouse that was intentionally placed amid the architecture and design of the facility. More often than not, this will be the three-circle shape that represents the head and ears of the iconic mouse. At other times it could be a profile of Mickey's face or a full-body silhouette. If you know what to look for, you'll begin to see how there are Mickeys all over the place and some of them are in very unexpected places. To get the reader started on this Mickey scavenger hunt, the author looks at the various venues of Disneyland and actually shows you the hidden Mickeys. It's well illustrated with lots of thumbnail photos, and you'll want to slip this guide into your back pocket, handbag or backpack so that you can play the Hidden Mickey game on your next visit to Disneyland or a Disney resort.
