This legal advice guide for women points out how little women know about taking care of their affairs. Seek legal advice early and often before making important business and legal decisions, she tells us. Mistakes are costly. Yes, doing it yourself is possible, but the consequences of errors are brutal.

She addresses many areas readers might not think of. The lead discussion is divorce and divorce considerations. Children are the main concerns of courts. Address all your concerns in their terms to get the best results.

Put your affairs in order early in life. Who cares for those kids if you are disabled or killed? Protections need to be in place for you and them. Who handles your affairs? Prenups are distasteful but sometimes beneficial. Be sure you have yours checked by an independent divorce lawyer BEFORE signing it.

Green also covers a whole host of other areas. Online dating can be problematic, and she gives a dramatic example of a stalker in action. Restraining orders don't fare much better. Same sex marriages, wedding ring disposition, bullying in schools, job discrimination, Internet law, domestic violence, scams, and older women's affairs are all discussed. She states you will not get much help on bullying from the schools or otherwise. With job discrimination, the best resources are those in place to serve the disabled and race discrimination. If possible, include them in your complaint. Get yourself involved if your girl child does not receive comparable sports opportunity. Sleeping with your attorney is just plain stupid and mentioned only because so many women do just that.

Her writing style is conversational and is spiced with her own experiences. She was wise enough to hire a personal injury attorney, a recommended one, after her mother was involved in an accident and couldn't care for herself or her affairs. Yes, Attorney Green hired an attorney. No head in the sand here. This lady explains how it is.
