fter Sophie and David break off their engagement, David meets Jana and falls for her. She is a bit of a mystery, but that simply makes her that much more intriguing. They move in together even though she lives in a ragtag apartment and sports a nasty black eye. He figures he'll have time to delve into her past.
U
nfortunately, that is not to be. Jana is murdered and, of course, David is the prime suspect. But he soon learns that Jana's death could be related to another murder. He tries to retrace her last steps but realizes he might be in danger himself. What on earth is going on? He thinks that maybe Jana was right when she told him she was being watched. She wouldn't tell him why she thought that. Now David feels the same sensation that she had. He pursues an investigation because he cannot let her killer go unpunished - even though Sophia is now back in the picture.
