The lucky ones have a relationship with their roommates like Blanche, Dorothy, and Rose on The Golden Girls. A lot of us have stories about our roommates that can rival a Stephen King horror novel. Having had about twenty of her own experiences with roommates, author Stephanie Wu has compiled an interesting collection of sixty of the best and worst stories of cohabitation with friends and strangers. This compilation includes roommate stories from high school boarding school to a retirement hotel and everything in between. You'll read about The Amateur Taxidermist, The Geriatric Retirement Hotel, and yes, even The Naked Nanna! Sure to delight and horrify, this is a must read for high school students heading off to university for the first time, and anyone who has or had a roommate. I was truly horrified at some ot these stories (I had no idea just how bad a men's dorm could be). I was also quite relieved to find that my own horrible roommate experience (that prompted me to swear off cohabitation with anyone other than my rabbit) was really not all that unusual.
