If the Mexican drug cartels manage to find a way to affect GPS, it could have grave consequences worldwide. They could use their knowledge to move contraband across the border with impunity or, even worse, sell the technology to terrorist groups who could launch attacks on the United States.

This unlikely premise is the driving force behind this latest Pike Logan thriller. Pike and Jennifer are in Turkmenistan with a top secret anti-terrorist unit when Jennifer learns her brother has been kidnapped by a Mexican drug cartel.

As they launch a recovery effort to get Jack out of Mexico, Pike and Jennifer stumble upon a far more insidious situation. The cartel has found a GPS hack with the power to debilitate the U.S..

Now there's much more at stake as the effort to save Jennifer's brother has expanded to include safeguarding the country's national security. Not only must the cartel be infiltrated, but its leaders must also be neutralized and the GPS threat eliminated or there will be grave consequences for all concerned.

As with the previous novels in this series, the plot develops at a rapid pace with lots of heartpounding action. Those who enjoy military action novels with macho characters will find this a satisfying read.
