Andrew Kaplan's Scorpion spy thriller series has a wide following of fans, which means that this latest adventure featuring the resourceful agent will provide an entertaining diversion for summer readers.

Scorpion isn't too interested in finding out what happened in Switzerland when a U.S. Embassy was attacked by a group of deadly foreign operatives who made off with classified documents. But with politicians in Washington demanding some type of retaliatory response, the CIA wants to make sure they know who is behind the bloody attack.

The Agency turns to Scorpion for help but he declines to get involved until he realizes his name figures prominently in the stolen, classified documents. Now more than willing to trace the group responsible for the theft, Scorpion finds he is matched against an elusive Iranian known as The Gardener and an enemy agent who is as accomplished as Scorpion himself.

The trail leads from Zurich and Barcelona to Tehran in what is one of the more exciting stories in this blockbuster series. Just be careful where you read this thriller. There's a real danger here you will become so engrossed reading Scorpion Deception that you'll lose all track of the time. That can lead to a very bad sunburn, so be careful!
