Friend Gussie is moving from her home above her antique store to a large Victorian on the beach. That means her business has to be moved also as she has sold the building that used to be her home and livelihood.

hile Maggie strolls the beach, she finds a dead body. Immediately, her amateur investigative brain starts working overtime. Lots of work to be done. Everyone is so busy, they are not aware of a hurricane that is barreling down on them. Preparing for that, when the realization sets in, puts all else on hold. Lots of work to be done.
S

by Lea Wait ties all these strands together, along with another body as well as an attempt at arson. The story leaps from one happening to the next without a break in continuity. Although, there a few questions left in my mind. Unless I missed it (which is a possibility) why did the dead man leave his daughter and home to disappear and wind up on Cape Cod with another name? And why was he killed?
