he trouble with Charlie is that he's dead. Now it's Elle's problem. Elle is Charlie's wife. Or should it be his ex-wife? Or he's Elle’s late husband? Whichever is the proper term, Charlie has been stabbed to death and the police are looking at Elle with predatory eyes.
T
he really big problem is that Elle has a gap in her memory and can't remember if she killed the man or not. Hopefully not. See, Charlie knew some things about some very not nice people. Secrets. Big secrets. About dangerous business clients. Naturally these clients didn't want these secrets divulged.
A
nother wee problem that Elle has is that Charlie refuses to leave for the great beyond. This unnerves Elle, understandably so. He believes that she has killed him and vows to haunt her.
The Trouble with Charlie
is an absolute delight. Don't miss it. Fun reading.
