All four stories concern women whose Christmas is made vastly better because of the introduction of a special male into their lives. In the title story a serious snowboarding accident promises to end what was to be a relaxing vacation, until the young woman who ends up in the hospital discovers she has a very special guardian angel who saved her life and now hopes to be part of it. In the other short stories an old love affair is rekindled during a visit home for the holidays; an investigation for some missing jewels turns up quite a surprise; and an old woman's keepsakes bring together two rather unlikely characters. Each story is about 100 pages in length so you can read them at your convenience whenever you feel like procrastinating pressing holiday chores.
