Lizette Henry leads an unexciting life. She goes to work, comes home, and goes to work again the next day. One morning all that changes. She looks in the mirror and finds a stranger staring back at her. After she throws up, she begins to question her life. Why doesn't she have any friends? What kind of life did she have before three years ago? And why can't she remember?

Whenever Lizette tries to remember she gets a blinding headache. What she doesn't realize is that government officials are monitoring her every move. If her memory comes back she'll be in mortal danger. Every day, she discovers something new about herself that she didn't know. She has skills and talents she wasn't aware she had.

She begins dreaming about a man she calls X. Who is he? Friend or foe? Is he real or just the imagination of a lonely woman?

When someone makes an attempt on her life, she runs. She knows she has to get out of D.C. but she doesn't know where she can go to be safe. Whatever her story is, she needs to remember it to stay alive.

This thriller grabs the reader on page one and doesn't let go.
