ellamy Price has written a bestseller, but she's not as happy about it as her agent thinks she should be. She had intended her identity to remain hidden under a pseudonym so no one would guess that her book is a fictional account of her sister's murder. Bellamy was twelve at the time of the murder and the book is her way of letting go of the past.
U
nfortunately, an enterprising paparazzi has outed her and once again the spotlight is on her family and anyone implicated during the investigation. Worse, Bellamy has become a target. Someone wants to punish her for writing the book.
W
hen Bellamy returns to Austin, Texas to see her dying father she seeks out Denton Carter. Denton, Susan's eighteen-year-old boyfriend at the time of her murder, could be the cause of her harassment. When Denton's airplane is vandalized and his livelihood is threatened, they join forces to find the culprit. This means delving into Susan's murder. Bellamy had a crush on Denton when she was twelve and she still finds him attractive, if aggravating.
