Rollie Waters learned a great deal from his father while growing up. Unfortunately, the lessons passed on from father to son were how to lie, cheat and steal. Then to lie, lie and lie some more!

Realizing he wasn't keen to become a con artist like dear old dad, Rollie became an undercover Marine Corps officer. He rather liked using false identities and staying out of trouble. When he was pulled from an assignment in Afghanistan, arrested and thrown in the brig, it came as a complete shock to him.

However, when he heard his father's name being bandied about, he realized he was in for a hard time. Seems there was $25 million dollars missing government money and his father was being sought for the theft! Rollie was to use the memories of his childhood with his father to trace the money and return it to – whom?

Author David Rich has sold screen plays over the world as well as the feature film Renegades. It's no wonder Caravan of Thieves reads like a thriller movie script, with great characters and enough action to keep readers hanging onto the edge of their seats. The story takes us from the deserts in Arizona to the deserts in the Middle East. And maybe Rollie's fatherly advice might just have saved his son's life.
