ate Winter is about to be crowned queen of the Underworld, even though she has been married to Henry for six months. She has been away in Greece with her friend James. Now that time is at an end, Kate isn't sure she wants to do this any more because Henry hasn't shown her any sign of affection or even said that he missed her.
B
ut as her mother hurries her towards the huge throne room for her coronation, Kate decides it's the right thing to do because she loves Henry. As the ceremony begins, a huge glass window blows in. Shards of glass scatter everywhere, with attendees scurrying for their lives. After Henry and his brothers leave to take care of the situation, Kate has a startling vision that he has been abducted and plans a rescue. In order to save Henry, she must go up against the only one strong enough to kill him - the King of the Titans.
W
hat an awesome tale, mixing old Greek mythology with the modern day. I truly enjoyed this fast-paced story, which takes readers into the mind of a young girl revealing her insecurities about love and doing the right thing. Kate makes a great heroine and readers will sympathize with some of the tough choices she has to make.
