The lad turns out to be a beautiful woman with fiery red hair. This meeting haunts him for the next three years; she is always on his mind. Miranda Ellis has a gift, a curse in her own eyes. She has the power to cast fire, to burn things; her ability almost left her family destitute when she was a child. Now she has turned thief, using her beauty to distract her victims while she fills her pockets. But her father has new plans for her, to marry Lord Archer. In the end, she falls in love with him. For she is the only person who can see behind the mask and understand who the real man is. Gruesome murders start taking place around Miranda and Lord Archer. All the evidence points to Lord Archer, who is being framed for the crime. Miranda finds herself embroiled in dark magic and intrigue, trying to find an answer to this mystery. In reviewing, I often run out of words to describe a book. So I will make this one simple - it is EXCELLENT. Hero and heroine are super likable, there's a great storyline and a romance to die for.
