Not only is she able to get into the minds of the victims, but she's also pretty good at mining the deranged psyches of the killers. Her novels have unfolded in San Francisco, New Orleans, Savannah, and various areas of the Pacific Northwest. Jackson's got the formula down pat now after writing 75 novels and she knows exactly how to get under her reader's skin and keep her or him locked into the story. A classic Jackson thriller, Born to Die would be the ideal introduction to this writer's fiction for anyone not familiar with her stories.
