hen Phillip Strong approaches attorney Nina Reilly, she refuses to see him. He will not take no for an answer and storms into her office. She finds herself sucked into the Strong family drama once again. The last time this happened, Phillip's son Jim Strong murdered her husband and tried to kill her.

hillip Strong wants to sell the family ski resort in Tahoe, worth millions of dollars. A portion of the resort belongs to each of his children and Jim, thought to be dead, has resurfaced in Brazil claiming his share of the sale with affidavits and a current driver's license.
J
im was a psychopath, and Nina doesn't want to believe he is alive. She agrees to help disprove the imposter's claim and get the resort sale done before the sales option goes away. If Jim is alive, she hopes he'll be tricked into coming back to Tahoe where he'll be arrested. Her friend Paul von Wagoner assures her that Jim is dead. Maybe he's right. He protected Nina when Jim attempted to murder her.
