Grier Hadley's father wants her to marry a man with a title and has put up a dowry to entice them. Grier's father is an unsavory character who has attained his money in ways that are not accepted by society. When Grier and her sister Cleo attend balls, they are not treated in the same manner as the other ladies.

Sevastian Maksimi is the next prince in line for the throne, since his older brother died. His grandfather has assigned him duties and requires him to marry a well-bred young lady with a considerable fortune to her name, so that he can produce an heir.

Grier and Sevastian's first meeting takes place at a ball but it is far from a happy one. Grier is hiding behind a fern when she hears Sevastian and his cousin talking about her in a negative way. Furious, she pours her drink on Sevastian, pretending it was an accident. Next he is caught in a manner that might compromise a lady with her husband - Grier ends up in a closet with him and the chemistry is immediate.

They keep running into each other, bantering and bickering between stolen kisses. They can't seem to stay away from each other. Marriage is not an option but their attraction is growing out of control. Can they live happily ever after even though Grier is not a well bred woman?

Sophie Jordan always creates stories that reel in readers with the first page and Wicked In Your Arms is no different. The interaction between Grier and Sevastian will have readers wanting them to fall in love but laughing at their bickering. I can't wait to see what Jordan's next historical romance is all about.
