I
always enjoy a novel by Harlan Coben.
Long Lost
is no exception. It was first published in 2009 and I'm not quite sure how I missed it.
A
good book from beginning to end. I enjoyed every page. Our old friend Myron Bolitar receives a disturbing phone call from an old friend whom he had not heard from for ten years. Terese tells him that her life was shattered when her little girl (who was so very long in coming) died. Now, her ex-husband has been murdered in Paris and she is the main suspect.
T
erese desperately needs help and Myron heads for Paris. Could her daughter still be alive? Certain discoveries lead in that direction.
T
erese and Myron conduct their own investigation, which leads them to dangerous encounters with unsavory characters. Homeland Security, Interpol and Mossad are looking for them, adding to the suspense. A middle of the night exhumation in a Parisian cemetery is a new experience for Bolitar, one he would not like to repeat.
A
great plot, even better dialogue, well-fleshed out characters and a trip to Paris all add up to entertaining reading. Don't miss
Long Lost
.
