Annabella Maestro, daughter of two famous movie stars, Ralph and Gemma Maestro, was brought up in typical Hollywood fashion, with nannies and more money than she knew what to do with. Spoiled isn't the word for it. By the time she was a teenager, Annabella had already had a nose job and a boob job. She had to fit her parents' profile. Moving to New York City, Annabella set up a very lucrative career as a madam to very discreet, famous, and rich men. She wanted to pave her own way in the world.

Sensible and no nonsense Denver Jones is a hotshot attorney in Los Angeles. After breaking up with her boyfriend, she finds herself seeing a stream of very handsome men. Since her sex life isn't the best right now, Denver ponders whether she should indulge herself.

Carolyn Henderson is having an affair with a very powerful and successful Senator, who just happens to be the love of her life. He is also very married and has two kids. Carolyn has a secret to share with him and is hoping the news will make him ecstatic. She is also best friends with Denver.

Annabella, Denver and Carolyn went to high school together, though all have very different backgrounds. Also they went to school with Bobby, son of Lucky Santangelo, a very rich and powerful woman. Bobby owns a high end club, called the Mood. He is also heir to a major fortune, and with looks that could kill. Bobby is connected to Annabella's boyfriend Frankie Romano, a major coke head.

Annabella's mother Gemma is found murdered, shot in the face in her Beverley Hills bedroom. The past has a funny way of coming back and haunting people. The murder throws the five of them together again.

Excellent, explosive and racy are the words that come to mind when you read Poor Little Bitch Girl, a book that cannot be put down no matter how hard you try - the chores won't get done once you start this one. Jackie Collins has put together a tale like no other, one that catches you right from the start.
