Single, Holly Larsen is struggling to provide a good Christmas for her eight-year-old nephew Gabe. When Holly's brother Mickey, a widower, left for his tour of duty in Afghanistan, Holly agreed to take care of Gabe. This Christmas there will only be the two of them as Holly's parents are in Haiti helping with medical assistance after the earthquake. Gabe only wants one thing for Christmas this year and that is a new robot, but when Holly sees the expensive price she wonders how she might bring this about.

One morning while waiting in line for coffee, Holly meets a good looking, interesting young man, but before they can exchange names they have left in a rush. Taking Gabe to Finley's Department Store in downtown New York City, Holly encounters the young man in the toy department. Jake is the son of the owner, and is delighted to meet Holly again. Holly and Gabe also meet Emily Merkle, or 'call me Mrs. Miracle', as she tells people. She works in the toy department and thinks Jake and Holly make a good match.

Jake and his father do not celebrate Christmas. After the busy retail season, they head South away from all the lights, tinsel, and happiness. Jake's mother and sister were killed twenty years ago in a car accident on Christmas Eve and they have too many sad memories. Mrs. Merkle seems to know something about everyone, but no one can figure out why. She is at work behind the scenes trying to bring everyone together for a special holiday. Mrs. Merkle sets out to bring Jake and Holly together by using the robot as a matchmaker. When Christmas arrives everyone is in for a surprise when there is a special delivery to Holly's apartment.

Call Me Mrs Miracle is a lighthearted, heartwarming story that will put you in the holiday spirit. It is a sequel to Mrs Miracle, and in November will be airing as the Hallmark movie, starring Doris Roberts as Mrs Miracle.
